Ann P. Barber

Ann P. Barber is a Managing Director at Hall Capital Partners LLC and Head of the Public Equity and Equity Hedge Strategies group.

Ms. Barber joined the Firm as Vice President in 2006. Prior to joining the Firm, she was at Lazard Asset Management in New York where she was an independent consultant involved in strategic analysis and equity research. Before joining Lazard, she was a Director and a Senior Research Analyst on the buy-side at Montgomery Asset Management, as well as on the sell-side at Credit Suisse-First Boston in New York, and Cowen & Co in New York and Boston. She started her financial career at Prudential Securities, where she became a Vice President in investment banking prior to transferring into equity research where she was a Senior Research Analyst.

Ms. Barber is a member of the San Francisco Day School Investment Committee. Ms. Barber is also a member of the National Charity League of San Francisco, an active mother-daughter philanthropy organization. Ms. Barber earned a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, an M.A. from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of The Johns Hopkins University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
