Richard L. Grand-Jean
Managing Director, Business Development
Richard Grand-Jean is a Managing Director at Hall Capital Partners LLC leading the Firm's business development efforts.
Mr. Grand-Jean joined the Firm in 2008. Previously, he was President and Founder of Global Film Equity Corp. and Abel's Hill Capital Corp., firms specializing in providing capital raising and advisory services largely for media and entertainment companies. Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Grand-Jean spent more than twenty years with Salomon
Brothers where he served in various senior roles in New York, London, and Tokyo, including head of global capital markets, head of the capital markets group, and managing director in the firm's investment banking media group. Mr. Grand-Jean began his career at Citicorp in London.
Mr. Grand-Jean is a board member of Poly Prep Country Day School and Real ID Inc. He previously served on the Boards of the Museum of the Moving Image, The Film Society of Lincoln Center, and Grace Church School. He also served on the Investment Management Committee of the Studio in the School.
Mr. Grand-Jean graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts from the Woodrow Wilson School. He holds a J.D. from University of Chicago Law School.
