Stephen E. Florance is a Managing Director at Hall Capital Partners LLC and Head of the Real Assets group which focuses on investments in real estate, energy, timber, and other tangible assets.

Mr. Florance joined the Firm in 1998 and has held several roles at the Firm. He was previously Head of the Capital Markets group, Head of the Absolute Return group, and has held roles as an Analyst for hedge funds overall, private equity managers in the distressed securities sector, and reporting on advisory client portfolios. Mr. Florance began his career in financial services as a staff accountant for limited partnerships at BancAmerica Robertson Stephens.

Mr. Florance is on the Investment Committee of Chadwick School. Mr. Florance graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Classics. He is a member of the CFA Institute and is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
