Lou Fernandes is a Principal at Hall Capital Partners LLC in the Absolute Return/Credit Research group where he is responsible for research, identification, due diligence, and monitoring of various credit and distressed strategies.
Mr. Fernandes joined the firm in 2007 as an Associate. His previous experience includes work in treasury and finance roles at Yahoo!, McAfee, and Intel. His responsibilities included evaluating corporate capital structure, managing share repurchase programs, analyzing and transacting foreign exchange, and overseeing a short-duration fixed income portfolio.
Mr. Fernandes graduated summa cum laude from University of California at Davis with a B.S. in Managerial Economics. He earned an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an M.A. from the Stanford School of Education. Mr. Fernandes is a member of the CFA Institute and is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
