Skip Bansak

Vice President
& Director of Data Analytics

Skip Bansak is a Vice President in Hall Capital Partners’ Business Intelligence group. As Director of Data Analytics, Mr. Bansak’s responsibilities include the composition, implementation, and facilitation of comprehensive data analytics to augment the firm’s ability to make agile, informed business decisions.

Mr. Bansak joined the firm in 2008 as an Analyst in the Portfolio Management practice and was promoted to Associate in 2012. He moved to the Business Development group in 2013, and was promoted to Senior Analytics Manager in 2015. He was promoted to Vice President in 2018.

In 2019, Mr. Bansak assumed the role of Business Intelligence Manager and began focusing his efforts on Hall Capital’s Innovations and Data Analytics initiatives. In 2021, he joined the firm’s newly-formed Business Intelligence group and was named Director of Data Analytics in 2022.

Education:

Vanderbilt University, B.A. in Spanish with double minors in Economics and History of Art, cum laude

What attracted you to HCP?

Unique combination of large-scale asset base, significant embedded knowledge, and smaller firm headcount. The opportunity for visibility and ability to interact and work with members from groups across the firm.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Music (nearly any genre/era), film (good and bad), electronics, cycling of the indoor variety, and tinkering with things to learn how they work.

Little known fact(s) about me:

When I was about 10, I won a local Street Fighter II tournament and received a year of free video rentals for my family.
