Portfolio Management



Alexander L. Binnie is a Senior Associate at Hall Capital Partners LLC and a member of the firm's Portfolio Management practice in San Francisco. He is responsible for developing investment strategy and constructing, monitoring, and rebalancing investment portfolios on behalf of high net worth families, endowments, foundations and other non-profit institutions.

Mr. Binnie initially joined Hall Capital in 2012 as a member of the firm's research group. As an Associate on the Real Assets desk, he was responsible for sourcing and due diligence of investments across real estate, energy, timber, and other hard assets. During this time, Mr. Binnie was also a founding member of the firm's Charitable Committee. He left in 2016 to earn his M.B.A, where he interned as an internal consultant for the Global Health Strategy division of The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle.

Mr. Binnie holds a B.A. from Stanford University, where he was an NCAA Academic All-American, and an M.B.A from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
